Do you have compost worms to give away?

Have you had a worm bin for a few months and has your worm population grown?

Give some of your worms to someone near you and help them get started for free.

Plus2Vers allows you to give compost worms for free to someone who wants to start their own worm bin.

You may have received your first worms for free

For many people, starting a worm bin begins with a donation.

Someone near you agrees to share some of their worms. They will often also give you a few tips to help you get started.

A few months later, your worms have multiplied.

You can then do the same and help someone else.

You received worms. Now it's your turn.

That's the idea behind Plus2Vers.

Why give away worms?

🪱 To help someone near you

Some people want to start a worm bin but don't always know where to find their first worms.

By giving away some of your worms, you can help someone in your area get started simply and for free.

🌱 To prevent worms from going to waste

A worm population can grow quickly in a worm bin.

When you have plenty of worms, you can remove some without putting your population at risk.

Rather than leaving them with nowhere to go, you can give them to someone who needs them.

♻️ To help worm composting grow

Worm composting allows you to recycle your kitchen waste at home, even if you live in an apartment.

The more people who practice worm composting, the more worms are available to start new worm bins.

One donation can therefore lead to another.

How does it work?

1. You have worms to give away

Your worm bin is working well and your worm population has grown.

You can give away some of your worms.

2. You register on Plus2Vers

Registration is free.

Simply tell us where you can give away worms and provide a few practical details.

Your exact address is never publicly displayed. The location shown on the map is intentionally approximate to protect your privacy.

3. Someone contacts you

People looking for worms can browse the donor map and contact you when they are looking for worms near them.

You can then communicate directly with them.

4. You give them your worms

You agree together on how to arrange the donation.

You give them some worms and, if you wish, a few tips to help them get started.

And you may have just created a future worm donor.

You don't need hundreds of worms

You don't need a huge worm population to become a donor.

Even a small number of worms is enough to get a worm bin started.

Your worms will then continue to multiply in their new home.

The goal is not to empty your worm bin.

It's simply about sharing some of your worms once your population has grown sufficiently.

Not available right now?

You can indicate that you are temporarily unavailable to give away worms.

You can become available again later.

You remain in control of your participation in the network.

A network based on sharing

Plus2Vers is not a worm shop.

The worms are not sold.

The website simply connects people who have worms to give away with people who want to get worms to start their own worm bin.

Everything is based on sharing between individuals.

This approach allows everyone to get started for free and is what has kept the network going for more than 10 years.

Have you received worms? Now it's your turn!

Maybe someone gave you your first worms.

Maybe they explained how to set up your worm bin.

Maybe they simply gave you the opportunity to get started.

Today, your worms may have multiplied.

You can pass this gesture on to someone else.
